KRAPYL
KRAPYL emerged from the shadowed, mist-laden forests of Telemark in 2022 — a region rich in mystery and folklore.
In 2023, they unleashed their ferocious debut EP, Før Alt. A raw and relentless declaration of intent, it strikes with ferocity, evoking comparisons to titans like Emperor and Hypocrisy. Since that defining moment, Krapyl has been forging an unyielding path through the dark recesses of Norway’s underground metal scene.
As a black metal force, Krapyl delivers thunderous blast beats akin to artillery fire, frostbitten tremolo riffs that cut to the bone, and eerie, melodic passages steeped in darkness. Their live shows are cold, brutal, and uncompromising displays of sheer intensity.
Now entrenched in the studio, the band is conjuring their next full-length creation — a looming behemoth that approaches with the power and inevitability of a black storm brewing on the horizon.
The future of Norwegian black metal has never been darker — yet somehow, it has never shone brighter.
